New Pyrrolidine Alkaloids from the Roots of Pandanus amaryllifolius.

Abstract Four new alkaloids, pandamarilactonines-E, -F, and -F-N-oxide consisting of a pyrrolidine moiety and two α-methyl-γ-lactone residues, and pandamarilactonine-G, possessing a pyrrolidinone function, were isolated from the roots of Pandanus amaryllifolius. Their structures were determined based on spectroscopic analyses and chemical syntheses.
