Health care satisfaction of hospital treatment in Belgrade

Health Care Satisfaction of patients treated in 16 Hospitals have done in 2008. The aim was to determine the professional experience and parameters for the assessment and monitoring of the quality of work of hospital. Improvement is felt 85.6% of patients; in 13.0%, the situation has remained the same, while in 1.4% of them performed worse health. Total satisfaction of patients treated in the hospital was very good (mean=4.23; SD=0,813). In relation to the satisfaction of users Hospital health care, they found differences by gender (4.35+0.78 male; 4.17+0.82 female); by age (to 29 years = 4.13+0.82; older than 60 years = 4.27+0.82); by financial condition (very good = 4.40+0.89; badly = 4.16+0.81); by health condition of the patients receiving (very difficult = 4.32+0.88; tolerably = 4.24+0.81) and according to discharge from hospital (improved = 4.31+0.77; deteriorated = 3.38+1.26). Greater satisfaction with hospital treatment have shown that patients are admitted to hospital as emergency cases (4.30+0.84), as well as those who had a permanent doctor (4.25+0.83).
