A Novel Decentralized Control Strategy for Input-Series Output-Parallel Inverter System

2019
Input-series output-parallel (ISOP) inverter system is applied for high-input-voltage and large-output-current applications. In order to improve the reliability and modularity, a novel decentralized control strategy is proposed based on the active power inverse droop characteristic, with which input voltage and output current sharing can be both achieved without sampling the input voltage of each module. The topology and control strategy are introduced in detail. Two-module simulation is conducted with Simulink and a 400V/1200W prototype is fabricated to verify the proposed control scheme, and the results demonstrate its superior performance and feasibility.
