The present invention relates to a titanium dioxide preparation process (TiO2) macro and mesoporous crystalline, in particular comprising the steps of preparing an acidified mixture comprising a separator, the mixture is acidified with at least 25% by weight acid; - adding in two stages to a titanium source of the acidified mixture comprising a separator and a nitrogen source: - obtaining a titania gel from the solution of titanium doped with nitrogen; - washing the titanium dioxide gel with an alcohol; - obtaining a macro titania and mesoporous crystalline from the washed titanium dioxide gel. The invention also relates to a macro titania and mesoporous crystalline obtainable by the method above.
