'is article presents the process of investigation conducted by the investigators teachers of the National Pedagogical University, focuses its attention on analyzing the participation of Colombian families in school management from categories such as responsibility, for gender, inclusion and its impact on quality education. On the other hand, this analysis contrasts with o(cial documents on the issue as the work done by the Foundation Alberto Merani on the participation of families in school management and guidelines and suggestions for family involvement in the school of National Education Ministry. Additionally, placed in the center of the discussion a concept how is from the subsidiarity which places the family in a new place in the light of the public policy of current family and from this gentleman towards a possible route work to reduce tensions between the family and school in education of children.
