Magnetic converter/suspension assembly, production and magnetic disk drive system

PURPOSE: To provide a functionally strengthened magnetic movable storage device having integrated converter/suspension structure provided with functionally strengthened read/writer converter configuration. CONSTITUTION: An integrally combined magnetic converter/suspension assembly 40 is provided suitably for use for both contact recording application and Winchester type application examples. A rectangular slender and flat suspension member is provided with a vertical induced read/write converter 33, which is formed integrally with the suspension member and embedded at one end of the suspension member, suitably for a vertical recording application example. A vertical magnetic pole terminal 49 of the converter and magnetic yoke structure are formed at one terminal part of the suspension member and the vertical magnetic pole terminal is extended to an air bearing plane, which is formed on the lower surface of a slider type projection 37 extended from the lower face of that terminal part of the suspension member, and exposed there. The air bearing plane is formed on the lower surface of a wearing pad and its production is executed at a wafer level.
