The article shows the urgency of training key human resources to implement Lean manufacturing in industrial garment enterprises in Vietnam. At the same time, the process ofindustrial garment production, principles and types of manpower needed to implement Lean manufacturing in garment enterprises are also mentioned. Proposing necessary contents for training core human resources to implement Lean manufacturing in garment enterprises including: determining objectives, training programs, learning materials development, selecting subjects and training methods, test and evaluation methods, teachers as well as training location and training time. From analyzing the shortcomings in training key human resources to implement Lean manufacturing in Vietnam industrial garment enterprises at the present, the author proposes the training objectives for each type of human resources in accordance with industrial garment enterprises.
