Conductivity of the composite of iron sulfosalicylate with sulfosalicylic acid

1996
The conductivity of solid composites of iron(III) sulfosalicylate (FeSSal) with sulfosalicylic acid (H 3 SSal) was studied by the impedance and Hebb-Wagner methods. The ionic character of the conduction was found. The dependence of the conductivity of the composite with the FeSSal/H 3 SSal ratio of 4:1 (I) and of free H 3 SSal on the temperature and humidity was determined. In the temperature dependences o the total conductivity in the ln σ T vs T -1 coordinates, inflections are observed at (24±1)°C for (I) and (16±1)°C for H 3 SSal. At 25)C, σ(I)=3.0 ×10 -4 and σ(H 3 SSal)=4.1×10 -4 S/cm
