Influence of palladium additives on the properties of cobalt catalysts in hydrocarbon synthesis from CO and H2

The introduction of 0.1-0.7 mass % of palladium into the catalyst 10% Co/SiO 2 is shown to considerably increase the activity of the latter in the synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO and H 2 , increase the conversion of the CO and the yield of liquid C 5+ products. The influence of the palladium concentration on the main parameters of the process, the group and fractional composition of the produced hydrocarbons is studied.
