Optical phase conductor (OPPC)

The invention relates to the technical field of power communication and particularly relates to an optical phase conductor (OPPC). The optical phase conductor is used for the updating reconstruction engineering of a 10kV rural power line so as to finish the construction of a communication channel required by a matched system for power utilization information acquisition and failure indication. The exterior of an optical fiber unit is wrapped by a hard-drawn aluminum wire, and a conductor shielding layer and an insulating layer are sequentially arranged outside the hard-drawn aluminum wire. The optical phase conductor has the advantages that power transmission and optical fiber communication can be combined; resources are saved; when the OPPC is used for the updating reconstruction of an original line, the original line is free from a hidden danger caused by the addition of an extra load; the corrosion resistance is high, and the service life is long; the thermostability is great; the hidden accident dangers such as lightning stroke strand breakage and overheat short-circuit current cannot occur; and an extra load cannot be added to a line pole tower. Besides, through the utilization of the power transmission line, the construction of the communication channel required by the system for power utilization information acquisition and failure indication is finished, and the intelligent reconstruction of a rural power grid can be finished.
