First report of genus Paromalus Erichson, 1834 (Coleoptera: Histeridae) from Korea, with a description of one new species

Abstract The genus Paromalus Erichson, 1834 is first recognized from Korea. A new species, Paromalus (Paromalus) koreanus sp. nov., is described and an unrecorded species, Paromalus (Paromalus) parallelepipedus (Herbst, 1791), is first reported from Korea. We provide morphological comments and photographs for both species.
