Enfermedad tromboembólica. Trombosis venosa renal

2019
Kidney infarction, mainly appearing in patients with a history of atrial fibrillation, is caused by thromboembolism of main renal artery or its branches. Small renal arteries are impaired in atheroembolic renal disease, which is diagnosed in patients suffering severe arteriosclerosis and causes multisystem damage, skin lesions and affectation of intestinal tract and nervous system. Renal vein thrombosis, acute or chronic, is another rare entity appearing frequently in patients suffering nephrotic syndrome.
