A process for producing a fiber reinforced plastic part by means of a molding tool with a sealing concept

In order to propose a method for producing a fiber reinforced plastic member by forming a reactive thermoplastic prepreg, where as little material waste is generated or the fiber-reinforced plastic component can be produced as economically as possible, it is proposed that the prepreg after the placing on a first tool part of the molding tool and prior to the forming of the prepregs so far as to press against a mold-forming inner surface of the first tool part, the prepreg is arranged spaced at a circumferential seal in the mold cavity.
