Piston ring of modular graphite cost iron containing V-Ti alloy and its manufacturing technology

2000
A piston ring features that it contains V (0.04-0.35%) and Ti (0.03-0.25%) besides the chemical components and micro alloy elements contained in nodular graphite cast iron. It is made up through preparing raw materials, casting, machining, electroplating and packaging. In its casting step, the molten iron is sequentially spheriodized and inoculated for fining its basic tissue. Its advantages are high antiwear performance and long service life.
