Effect of amygdalin on cytochrome oxidases of cerebrocellular energy metabolism in cerebral ischemia

The right frontotemporal lobe of rat brain was treated with frozen section and its cytochrome oxidases were incubated and stained.The stained slices were observed under TV microscope video measurement system and the data were disposed by digital computer.The results showed that amygdalin can significantly improve the activity of cytochrome oxidase in the cerebral ischemic state.
