Cholesteric liquid crystal composition, liquid crystal display panel and their preparation methods

A cholesteric liquid crystal composition, a high-contrast liquid crystal display panel containing the same, and their preparation methods are provided. The cholesteric liquid crystal composition comprises a block copolymer and cholesteric liquid crystal; the block copolymer comprises a block A and a block B, the block A contains chiral group M1, and the block B contains chiral group M2, wherein the cholesteric liquid crystal has at least two different pitches. The display panel comprises an array substrate and an opposing substrate that are aligned, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the array substrate and the opposing substrate, wherein the liquid crystal layer contains the cholesteric liquid crystal composition. The liquid crystal layer in a planar texture form can reflect light of at least two wavelengths in a visible light area.
