The preparation method comprises the steps of: mixing 85-95 parts by weight of styrene resin, 5-20 parts by weight of polymethylmethacrylate, 1-5 parts of phosphorous compound and 1-5 parts of random copolymer of styrene and maleic anhydride to prepare master batch, then adding the prepared master batch from a main feeding port and adding glass fiber form a side feeding port, wherein the addition amount of the glass fiber accounts for 10-30wt% of the master batch, controlling the filling proportion of the glass fiber through regulating the rotation speed of a screw rod and the rotation speed of feeding, and finally squeezing out, cooling and pelleting, wherein the squeezing-out temperature is 190-240 DEG C. Compared with the prior art, the glass fiber reinforced styrene resin blends with good appearance and mechanical property has the characteristics of high toughness, high rigidity and favorable surface appearance and is suitable for preparing products with higher requirements on fatigue resistance, such as water treatment valves, connection pieces, water treatment pumps, water treatment barrel filling mouth and the like.
