Confucius "Ren" and Socrates' "Virtue

In light of the theory of the "axial age", this paper is aimed to show how Confucius and Socrates made grate contributions to the common goal and morals of the human spiritual life in three perspectives: (1).the unity of virtues; (2) the knowledge of morals; and (3). the universality of virtue.
