New approach to QCD factorization for deep inelastic scattering

Conventional forms of QCD factorization are kT- and Collinear factorizations. They were suggested for different evolution equations and look totally unrelated to each other. In our approach we derive a more general kind of factorization for the forward Compton scattering off hadrons, Basic factorization, and then show how to reduce it to kT- and Collinear factorizations for the DIS structure functions. As an applications of our approach we obtain restrictions on the fits for the parton distributions used in DIS.
