In the article the author reveals the cultural mechanisms and functions of the carnival of reflective activity in childhood. For example, carnival of the reflection of the child from two to seven years shows the process of operation of the carnival structures of thinking. The author first introduces the working concept of "migration carnival reflection" applying it to determine the peaks of carnival activity in children of preschool age. The analysis identified two types of reflection carnival: adaptive and non-adaptive. There are four sensitive to carnival activity period, when the child has the greatest creative potential.
