Progressive meningoencephalitis due to neurosarcoidosis

Neurological manifestations of sarcoidosis can be the presenting eature of the disease and are reported to be present in up to 15% of atients with systemic sarcoidosis [1]. The most common neurologcal manifestation is cranial nerve palsy with a special propensity or the facial nerve [1]. Almost half of the patients have symptoms of arenchymal affection which is demonstrated as encephalopathy, ass effect or hypothalamic disorder [1]. We present a patient with progressive meningoencephalitis and iffuse brain MRI abnormalities due to neurosarcoidosis.
