Applications of Advanced Phase Shift PWM Controller UCC3895 in the ZVS-FB-PWM Converter

In this paper,a new IC chip UCC3895 is introduced which is a phase shift PWM controller for implementing the control of a full-bridge power stage. It improves on UC3875/6/7/8 family and UC3879 controller family with additional features,such as adaptive deadtime set,so that the system reliability can be improved. A 50kHz 100W ZVS-FB-PWM converter based on UCC3895 is designed,and the experiment results show that it has preferable behaviors .
