Influence Factors Analysis of Distribution Transformer Fault Using Cox Proportional Hazard Model

2019
Due to the impact of bad weather, overload, and three-phase unbalance, the distribution transformer may have a fault. The fault of the distribution transformer brings economic losses. Thus, it is necessary to carry out fault analysis of the distribution transformer. In this paper, the Cox proportional hazard model has been used to analyze the influence factors of the distribution transformer fault. Five indexes have been defined. The scores of the indexes have been calculated by using the negative point method and used as covariates in the Cox proportional hazard model. The weekly and monthly data have been used and compared. Results show that the load rate and the degree of current unbalance have a significant influence on the distribution transformer fault. The results of weekly and monthly data are consistent.
