Machine learning Algorithms applied to Genetic Promoter Sequences Recognition

A novel approach presents to recognize promoter sequences using supervised learning algorithms. For the proposed approach was possible to recognize correctly more than 95% of the tested cases, the cases were previously labeled as promoter and non-promoter sequences, from a genomic database.
