In Vitro Methods for Quantification of Granulocyte Adhesiveness (Commentary)

As it is the case for the measurement of Chemotaxis, in vitro quantification of granulocyte adhesiveness is far from being standardised, and we can be sure that there is still a long way to go until we arrive at a method that will find broad acceptance and that will produce comparable results when performed in different laboratories. The two studies to be commented on performed by G.Hopen (A) and A.Courillon et al.(B) represent such steps on a rather stony way.
