João Batista Vilanova Artigas, entrevistado por Eduardo de Jesus Rodrigues em 1978

The text of this article reproduces an interview by architect Joao B. Vilanova Artigas to Eduardo de Jesus Rodrigues in 1978, due to a research project about the master life and work that was developing at the Department of Information and Artistic Documentation (Idart), Department of Culture of the Municipality of Sao Paulo. In the interview Artigas discusses his early works, built between 1939 and 1946, addressing issues related to the design process, proposal and development, but also on the construction procedures, technical and methodological, and also introduces anecdotes about the relationships he had with his clients.
