Process for reclaiming copper from lead copper matte

2008
The invention relates to a copper recovering method from lead copper matte output in a lead-fire smelting system adopting hydrometallurgy, belonging to the hydrometallurgy field of nonferrous metals. The copper recovering method is characterized in that: the lump material of the lead copper matte is milled with the granularity less than 40 meshes, and the milled lead copper matte is mixed by a waste electric effusion or a dilute acid solution with a liquid-solid ratio of 10 : 1 and then is sent into an autoclave, and the oxygen is leaded into the autoclave; under the extraction condition with the partial pressure of oxygen of 0.2 to 1.0MPa, the total pressure of 0.5 to 1.5MPa, the extraction temperature of 100 to 150 degree centigrade, the sulfate concentration of 50 to 150 g/L and the extraction time of 2 to 6h, copper is obtained by oxidizing leaching, and lead is left in the residue with the form of lead sulfate; when the extraction process is over, the ore slurry is discharged out of the autoclave, after liquid solid separation, the metal primary separation is realized; copper is recovered in the copperish lixivium adopting electrodeposition process, and the cathode copper product according with Chinese Standard is obtained; lead, argentums, simple substance sulfur and other valuable elements are recovered and used by returning the lixivium to the lead-fire smelting system.
