Isobaric analog resonances in doubly odd N = 85 isotones and the seniority model

Abstract Excitation functions have been measured for elastic and inelastic proton scattering in the energy range E p = 8.7–10.3 MeV on 145 Nd and E p = 7.5–10.8 MeV on 147 Sm. Their analysis have completed the qualitative results obtained by (d, p) and (n, γ) reactions. Angular momenta, elastic partial widths Γ p and an order of magnitude of the inelastic proton widths ΩΓ p have been determined for several resonances.
