External curative effect of Asarum with vinegar adjustable paste in guinea pig oral ulcer model

Objective: To explore the external curative effect of Asarum with vinegar adjustable paste in guinea pig oral ulcer model.Methods: established the models of guinea pigs with oral ulceration by burning these cheeks by phenol,measured edema ulcer degree,oral ulcer area and pathology change to observe the external curative effect of high and low-dose of Asarum heterotropoides Fr.Schmidt var.mandshuricum(Maxim.)kitag,Asarum sieboldii Miq.and Asarum sieboldii Miq.var.seoulense Nakai in guinea pig oral ulcer model.Results: On the third and fifth day of administration,high-dose of Asarum heterotropoides Fr.Schmidt var.mandshuricum(Maxim.)kitag and high-dose of Asarum sieboldii Miq.could obviously reduce the oral ulcer symptoms of guinea pigs,on the fifth day,high-dose of Asarum sieboldii Miq.var.seoulense Nakai could obviously reduce the oral ulcer symptoms of guinea pigs;On the third and fifth day of administration,high and low-dose of all Asarum could narrow visibly oral ulcer area;High and low-dose of Asarum heterotropoides Fr.Schmidt var.mandshuricum(Maxim.)kitag,high-dose of Asarum sieboldii Miq.and high-dose of Asarum sieboldii Miq.var.seoulense Nakai could obviously ameliorate pathological changes of oral cavity ulcer of the guinea pigs model.Conclusion: Asarum with vinegar adjustable paste has good external curative effect on guinea pig oral ulcer model.
