Rekonstrukce železniční stanice Jihlava

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of the reconstruction of the railway station Jihlava. Two alternatives of addressing this issue have been elaborated. The first option is designed as a cost-effective solution: the station will be fully equipped with the platform, a change in the connecting line No.701 Jihlava - Veseli nad Lužnici will be carried out due to the excessive attrition of the switch No. 11 and a new connection of the dead-end siding No. 201a will be installed at Dobronin railway gridiron. The second option is more costly as it consists in a major modification of the station appearing in the previous option but, in addition to that, a more extensive adjustment of both gridirons will be carried out in order to achieve higher speeds for running tracks, a better balance of the utility lengths and the optimum connection of the rails to the individual boarding edges in the station. For both gridirons, modifications related to the potential future connection to the double-track Havlickův Brod - Okřisky will be carried out, and as in case of the option No. 1, a new connection of the siding rail track No. 201a will be installed at Dobronin railway gridiron.
