The present invention discloses a method for preparing a porous activated carbon / copper ion supercapacitor. The present invention employs the edible fruit processing residues as carbon source, hydrothermal treatment, carbonization and activation technique for preparing a porous activated carbon Sec super capacitor electrode material; introducing the non-copper-containing material in an aqueous solution of copper ions constituting the electrolytic oxidation reduction supercapacitor ; super-capacitor according to the present invention provides an electric double layer capacitor made of activated carbon porous, reversible oxidation-reduction reaction of copper ions to provide a Faraday capacitor, both superimposing synergies capacitance. The porous structure of activated carbon / copper ions at a current density supercapacitor capacitance than the 1A / g reached 492F / g, a current density than the capacitance at 20A / g reached 285F / g, having a low internal resistance, good cycle stability , long life, high power and high energy density characteristics, and low cost, abundant resources, and environment-friendly, easy to industrialization and so on.
