Special features of the necking process during uniaxial stretching of a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and tetrafluoroethylene

1988
Abstract The deformation of vinylidene fluoride and tetrafluoroethylene copolymer films is studied by ultrasonic, spectroscopic, and diffraction methods. The special deformation features in the neck formation region are determined not only by the morphology of the crystalline phase but also by the nature of the packing and the conformational state of the chains in the inter-lamellar layers.
