The engineering method of superconducting rectifiers computation

Abstract The developed engineering method of superconducting rectifiers (SCR) for magnet systems (MS) computation is based on analytical mode of linearized converter circuits investigation. The method makes it possible to determine actual and integral characteristics of transient processes at any time, commutation mode, control algorithms, under rectangular and sinusoidal forms of supply voltage, constant switch resistance and leakage current, etc. during MS pumping. Computation of rectifier elements main parameters is possible at required efficiency and some other parameters of pumping process. The method is realized in software package based on SuperCalc spreadsheet processor which makes it easy available.
