Social importance of epilepsy problem is defined by its prevalence, young age of patients, potentially progressive type of course, complications and insufficient efficiency of therapy. Despite epilepsy therapy achievements about 50 % of patients become disabled. Epilepsy life restrictions for the most part are connected with personality disorders and dementia. Psychoorganic syndrome is one of the syndromes that worsens adaptation. On the basis of scientific review and personal professional experience psychoorganic syndrome classification, epilepsy development stages and types of remissions which are necessary to consider in health evaluation for labour issues are presented.
