ANNOUNCEMENT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District (SMAQMD) announces the availability of a Request for Proposals (RFP). The SMAQMD is requesting quotes and proposals from experienced firms to provide laboratory analysis of carbonyl cartridge samples for Photochemical Assessment Monitoring Stations (PAMS) carbonyl compounds. SMAQMD intends to collect up to 280 silica gel cartridge samples for the duration of the 2-year contract. SMAQMD is the local public agency responsible for development, implementation, monitoring and enforcement of air pollution control strategies in Sacramento County, including its incorporated cities. The mission of SMAQMD is to achieve clean air goals by leading the region in protecting public health and the environment through innovative and effective programs, dedicated staff, community involvement, and public education.
