The Evaluation of Gait Strategy on a Treadmill Using a New IGS Index Based on Frequency Analysis of COP Course

Unstable gait is also a frequent problem in patients with neurological dysfunctions. It proves to be essential to develop methods of objective diagnostics of human mobility and early detection of defects which are often a result of more serious conditions. The aim of this research is to develop methods of evaluation of gait instability with open and covered eyes on a treadmill on the basis of selected kinematic quantities.
