The sensor head structure comprises an elastomer with a through hole installed along the axial direction and the optical fiber passing through the through hole and being fixed to both ends of the through hole; two dumb bell heads are respectively arranged at both ends of the elastomer and fixed to the elastomer to induct force; a protective tube is used to seal and protect the elastomer and the optical fiber grating, and a definite gap is provided between the tube and the dumb bell heads in axial direction to make sure the elastomer has a definite compression length. This structure has advantages of simple packaging, very high sensibility, simple integrated structure, lower cost, and is a stable and reliable sensor head.
