Pasado presente y futuro de la fecundación in-vitro en Venezuela y el Mercosur

The in vitro fecundation (IVF) constitutes a widely developed biotechnology in the world, which has brought benefits to the genetic progress of livestock. In Venezuela has used this biotechnology with purpose of investigation, what has allowed to standardize the conditions of field and of laboratory, attaining encourages results by the birth of calf in the 21st century produced in vitro By Venezuelan scientists. However, still must be overcome the barriers that exist to develop large-scale production of in-vitro embryos, which must be a strong investment in infrastructure, equipment and technical staff. Like country have fortresses that could allow us in a near future, apply to wide scale the production in vitro, to attain surpass the barriers that involves the development of the FIV. The objective of this work is to present a brief review of the challenges that has the application of fertilization in vitro for Venezuela in the present and future.
