The pressure sensor assembly with just extending contacts and placed vertically to the wall of the circuit carrier

Disclosed is a pressure sensor assembly is arranged comprising a housing, an electric circuit carriers (5.2) on which a pressure sensor element (5.1), said electrical connection means (6) between an outwardly disposed on the housing plug-in region (3.6) and the circuit carrier (5.2) are provided on the housing and a pressure inlet (4.1) and a pressure channel (4.2, 4.3) for supplying the pressure from the pressure inlet (4.1) to the pressure sensor element (5.1) are provided. The housing has appropriate mounting means (2, 3.1) for fixing the pressure sensor assembly to a wall (1) of a vehicle. The circuit carrier (5.2) is oriented perpendicular to the wall (1) and the electrical connecting means than just extending contacts (6) are formed. The pressure channel (4.2, 4.3) has at least one bend between the pressure inlet (4.1) and pressure sensor element (5.1). The straight-running contacts (6) may be preferably integrally formed as pin contacts (6.3) to be in the insertion region (3.6) and the press-fit pins (6.1) in the circuit carrier (5.2) are formed and are pressed into the housing of the pressure sensor assembly. However, like the assembly may not necessarily be the smallest and most compact of the design in terms of the required installation space, this configuration is particularly favorable in terms of production costs.
