Triangulation of the MgO-Al2O3-H2O system as applied to the hydration of magnesium aluminates and the dehydration of their hydrates

Based on an analysis of the triangulation of the MgO-Al 2 O 3 -H 2 O system under standard conditions, a mechanism of the dehydration of the Mg 2 AlO 2 (OH) 3 .H 2 O, MgAlO 2 (OH).H 2 O, and Mg 3 Al 2 O 6 .8H 2 O hydrates and the hydration of the Mg 2 Al 2 O 5 aluminates was proposed.
