The invention relates to a method of producing a rotor blade, in which a preform is produced as a textile semi-finished products of a number of sheets of structural scrim mats, preferably for use in a subsequent vacuum infusion, comprising the steps of: providing a molding for the preform in a lay-portal , providing a structure scrim mat in roll form of the sheet on a roller clutch, automated unrolling the mat scrim structure, and automated applying an adhesive to the structure scrim mat in the mold part in the nest of the portal.
