[The structural-functional properties of the thrombocytes in patients with a history of a myocardial infarct].

: Functional state and morphological features of platelets were studied in patients with ischemic heart disease 3-24 months following the primary infarction and reinfarction. The studies made pointed to considerable changes in the structure, metabolism and reactivity of platelets. Chronic exposure to irritant factors makes for the depletion and destabilization of blood plates, their adhesive properties and ability to store and catabolize biogenic amines being upset, the destructive changes of glycocalix having a most pronounced impact on the platelet reactivity. The structural and functional disturbances revealed in the thrombocyte homeostasis have been found to correlate with the clinical course of the illness.
