A successful example of batch and cullet preheating in the container glass industry

Due to the economic constrains to produce always more efficiently or respectively due to the legislation, which becomes continuously stricter with regard to the protection of the environment, Zippe as a main supplier for the glass industry deals with this topic. The result has been the development of a batch pre-heater. Three batch pre-heaters have already been installed and are running successfully. Beside general description of the pre-heater, the results achieved are displayed by one of these installations, serving as an example.
