The invention discloses an energy regeneration structure of an excavator and the excavator, and belongs to the technical field of engineering machinery. The energy regeneration structure of the excavator comprises a hydraulic oil cylinder, a regeneration solenoid valve, a first control solenoid valve, a rotary motor, a second control solenoid valve, an oil tank and a hydraulic pump, and further comprises a rotary sequence valve, a safety valve and a second hydraulic motor; an oil feeding oil path and an oil returning oil path of the rotary motor are connected with the rotary sequence valve; the rotary sequence valve is connected with the safety valve and the safety valve is connected with the oil tank; the second hydraulic motor is connected with the hydraulic pump; and the second hydraulic motor is connected on an oil path between the rotary sequence valve and the safety valve. According to the energy regeneration structure of the excavator, the oil feeding oil path and the oil returning oil path of the rotary motor are connected with the rotary sequence valve, and the rotary sequence valve is connected with the hydraulic motors for supplying auxiliary power to the hydraulic pump, so that high-pressure oil overflowing from the rotary sequence valve can be supplied to the hydraulic motors to help an engine; and the oil consumption is reduced, the energy loss is greatly reduced and the efficiency is improved.
