Palladium catalysed amination of electron deficient halothiophenes

Abstract A range of functionalised aminothiophenes has been prepared via palladium-catalysed aminations. The reaction proceeds in high yield when the halide is conjugated to an electron-withdrawing group and is suitable for a wide variety of amines.
