Assistant Role of Ambroxol in Chronic Nasal Sinusitis in Children

Objective To investigate the assistant role of Mucosolvon in treating chronic nasal sinusitis in children. Methods 82 patients of children with chronic nasal sinusitis were randomized into 2 groups: a ambroxol group (ambroxol 30mg tid+augmentin375mg bid+flixnase spray nose bid,till 4 weeks.n=42) and con- trolled group without any ambroxol ( n=40).we described and compared clinical effects. Results Ambroxol group patients had a better result in accelerating diminution of inflammation. There is a significant difference compared with controlled group ( p0.05). Conclusions Ambroxol does is helpful intreating chronic nasal sinusitis in children through accelating diminution of inflammation.
