ADAPTIVE MOBILE LEARNING FRAMEWORK BASED ON LITERATURE

Advances in wireless networks and internet-capable hand-held devices have created significant interest in mobile learning in recent years. Trends indicate that adaptive mobile learning is the next milestone of educational technology. However, adaptive mobile learning is evolving with its various aspects and their inter-relationships need to be integrated. The available literature related to adaptive mobile learning clearly emphasizes that a solid adaptive mobile learning framework is missing and that several researchers have highlighted the need for a cohesive framework. To address this issue, a framework is proposed in this paper for mobile learning that adapts to individual learner characteristics according to each learner’s learning context.
