Demodulation method for Gaussian spectrum half-width multiplex communication system

2015
The invention provides a demodulation method for a Gaussian spectrum half-width multiplex communication system, and relates to demodulation of a telecommunication system in which optical communication is used as a transmission path. The demodulation method comprises the following steps: synthesizing two beams of Gaussian spectrums, of which the central wavelengths are coincided, the maximum intensities are the same, and the half widths are different, into a multiplex spectrum; selecting two observation points in the synthesis multiplex spectrum; writing a characteristic equation of the standard deviation of Gaussian spectrums; determining the standard deviation of two beams of Gaussian spectrum meeting a relative mean error condition; and determining the half widths of the two beams of Gaussian spectrums so as to realize the demodulation of the Gaussian spectrum half-width multiplex communication system. The demodulation method overcomes the complexity that a nonlinear least squares LM (Levenberg-Marquard) algorithm establishes and looks for parameter equation relationship based on all data of a spectrum, and overcomes the defect that the method of dividing a peak searching threshold value coefficient and a light-intensity maximum product into a plurality of unimodalities and identifying locations of spectrum peaks through a variable filter cannot distinguish the coinciding of central wavelengths of the two beams of Gaussian spectrums. Meanwhile, the provided Gaussian spectrum half-width communication technology expands the field of wavelength division multiplexing.
