Membership of ultraviolet-bright stars in the globular cluster M12

Positions and proper motions of 165 stars in the field of the globular cluster M12 (NGC 6218) have been determined using 20 plates covering a time interval of about 85 years. Membership probability for each star was derived from the proper motions. The data show a good segregation of cluster and field stars. For ten of the 13 UV-bright stars the proper motion membership result agrees with conclusions from radial velocities as given by Harris H. C. et al. (1983, Publi. Astron. Soc. Pac., 95).
