A Visible Pedagogy as from University Training Political-Academic Debates: Encounters with the Cuban University

The analysis of contemporary documents about international educational policy for higher education, allows to state a claim: to invigorate every university s substantive functions. A read out in pedagogical key (educational and curricular) of such claim, brings to mind different interpretations, and different ways of acting, too. In that direction, the work discusses some academic topics, such as: the curricular integration and flexibility, the adequate preparation of the faculty for the educational role, the dilemma of academic globalization, and the debate among discipline and competences in the curriculum.
